Building Automation  

Building automation systems (BAS) are utilized in many buildings for controlling and monitoring the HVAC systems of the facility. The BAS provides a wealth of real-time information to the building operator about these systems. If utilized appropriately, the BAS can be viewed prior to physically going to investigate an issue. Oftentimes, the BAS alone has the answers to solving the issue at hand. If not, it can be utilized to narrow in on what needs to be looked at prior to sending a physical person to investigate. This course will teach students how to utilize the BAS in this manner.
