Continuous Commissioning

Continuous Commissioning (CC) is an ongoing process to resolve building operating problems, improve comfort, optimize energy use, and identify retrofits for existing commercial and institutional buildings and central plant facilities. This presentation will cover different CC process applications, stages and steps, tools and software available, and the needs and benefits of CC. Several examples of using CC to achieve significant energy savings with reasonable simple paybacks at existing commercial and institutional buildings are given.

Re-tuning

The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) has developed a building Re-tuning approach to detect energy savings opportunities and implement improvements. The purpose of the building Re-tuning course is to enable you to reduce operating cost and provide energy savings to the building you are responsible for. The knowledge and skills learned here are highly valued in the energy, controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), green, and sustainability industries and help make our planet healthier.
